Spring is coming and with it the haymaking season. This spring is a good time to take steps to improve hay quality and reduce feeding costs next winter, University of Kentucky Extension forage specialist, Dr. Chris Teutsch, told farmers during the recent Virginia Forage and Grassland Council’s 2025 Winter Conference.
