Gabi Salazar

Conference Coordinator

Gabi grew up in DC, spending weekends in West Virginia helping with her family’s beef cattle herd. She currently works part-time at Clagett Farm in Upper Marlboro, MD, and volunteers with CKC Urban Farm in Silver Spring, MD to grow their intern education program.

Until recently, Gabi helped organize the annual EcoFarm Conference in California, one of the biggest gatherings for regenerative and sustainable farmers and ranchers on the West Coast. Gabi is passionate about working in community to build regenerative and just food and farming systems. She is excited to use her skills to put on the 2023 Future Harvest Conference.

Gabi earned a BS in International Agriculture and MS in Applied Economics from Cornell and speaks Spanish and Haitian Creole. She likes caring for her local forested parks as a Montgomery County Weed Warrior, and loves singing and ceramics.
