“Mid-May 2021, I joined the field crew at Deep Roots Farm, a fifty acre organic forest farm in Upper Marlboro, MD.
In addition to responding to day-to-day demands (e.g., weed management, livestock care, CSA share packaging and delivery) on the farm, I help connect produce to the public via farmstands in Capitol Hill, at the H Street NE Farmers Market, and at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market.
Before pivoting away from the education domain, I supported youth and families with their educational goals, 2007-2019. I was introduced to urban farming by Gail Taylor at Three Part Harmony Farm (in May 2019), and have dedicated my waking hours to deepening my understanding of herbal energetics (herbal healing).
My goal is to help improve my connection with Earth, while instituting liminal spaces for healing nature-human relationships.”
