Cathy Tipper was instrumental in founding the Beginner Farmer Training Program in 2009, and has worked on the program continuously since its inception. The program has graduated nearly 400 trainees to date, the majority of whom are now commercially farming. Cathy has also started a small CSA business on her farm in Baltimore County.
