Amy Mullan

Events Coordinator

Amy grew up on her family’s nursery in Baltimore County. This experience solidified her love of horticulture and exposed her to roles such as Nursery and Farm Manager. Amy has a B.A. in Public Health and Policy Studies from Elon University.

After working for several years at Benevolence Farm, a nonprofit, farm-based, transitional-living program for women leaving North Carolina prisons, Amy developed a passion for bolstering community health and food sovereignty in rural communities. This was further strengthened during her experience fundraising and managing programs for the Campus Kitchens Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainably addressing food insecurity. Amy continued working in development and program management for the Brigance Brigade Foundation, where she launched the organization’s annual giving society, furthered board development efforts, and led an integrated marketing communications strategy.

Amy’s passion for nonprofit development and her commitment to Future Harvest as a member, led her to joining the Future Harvest team as the head of Development in 2021.
