Alecks is a seasoned event planner and marketing strategist with a B.A. in Marketing and Business Administration and over a decade of experience. At Fox Haven Herb Farm & Learning Center, she collaborates with nature-based educators to create meaningful events that strengthen relationships between people and the land that sustains us. For almost five years before that, Alecks worked at the Common Market Co-op as their Event Planner, organizing food demos and large-scale events showcasing local businesses. As the current Vice President of the Common Market Co-op Board, she continues to contribute to building stronger, more connected local food systems. Previously, Alecks also worked with dozens of local farms to organize a thriving farmer’s market, fostering community connections and support for local growers. Driven by her passion for nature, mindfulness, and sustainable farming, she blends event marketing with creative storytelling to bring people together and inspire community engagement.
