Our work is made possible and enriched through collaborations and contributions from our regional food community. This includes universities, farmers, small businesses, other nonprofit organizations, individual donors, and in-kind support. These gifts make a difference in our local food system by supporting Future Harvest’s programs which:
- Train tomorrow’s farmers through our Beginner Farmer Training Program
- Cultivate new leaders in our agricultural community through our upcoming Agricultural Leadership Development Initiative
- Bring together a community of more than 500 farmers, educators, and food system professionals during our annual conference
- Provide funds for intermediate and experienced farmers to work one-on-one with consultants to ensure the longevity of their operations
- Deliver education and technical assistance on agricultural practices that build healthy soil
“When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.”
~Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac
