Virginia No Till Alliance Winter Conference

February 21

The Virginia No-Till Alliance winter conference will be held Tuesday, February 21st at the Agriteer (formerly Binkley & Hurst) location in Rockingham County (4310 South Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA).  This year’s theme is “Making Cover Crops Work.” Featured speakers are Dr. Greg Roth and Leslie Bowman. Dr. Roth is a Professor Emeritus from Penn State. He was instrumental in the development of interseeding cover crops. Leslie Bowman is the crop manager for Lesher’s Poultry Farm near Chambersburg, PA. The conference will also include an innovative farmer panel with Paul Davis, Anthony Beery and Doug Fifer.
