Learn everything needed to start a successful veggie garden this May in a 8-class, 2-week long, online, evening crash course on growing food

Course Description

Are you new to gardening but want to start a successful garden this May? Or have you been growing before but want to learn how to increase your veggie production while decreasing your effort? Check out this (8) class, 2-week long, crash course, on everything you need to know to not only start a garden by this May but to grow a lot of veggies this growing season.

All classes are online and hosted in the evenings (6-8pm) and participants will receive recordings and powerpoints in case they can’t make every class so they can learn at their own pace. Participants will also have opportunities for Q&A sessions, on-going techincal support throughout the growing season, and will be invited to several seedling giveaways.

No Pressure Attendance and Class Recordings

This is a “pressure free” crash course:) All classes will be recorded and shared with each participant along with the class powerpoints and opportunities for Q&A, so participants can learn at their own pace.

All classes will be taught by Josh Singer. Josh has spent the last decade working in the DC urban Ag work building gardens, farms, and urban Ag. support systems. Josh has taught 100s of classes about growing in DC and is currently managing 3 communal production farms which in 2023 grew and gave away over 13K pounds of produce to 100s of community members.

The entire course is $80 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the DUG Network to continue the newsletters and build a new website. If you would like to be considered for a free sponsored ticket email
