The Annual Mid-Atlantic Black Farmers Conference & Delaware Farm Crawl

Join us August 28 & 29, 2026 at Delaware State University in Dover, DE for what is shaping up to be our most powerful weekend yet. This year’s theme is Community Power and we are bringing it to life with two full days of workshops, farm tours, keynote conversations, a fashion show, and a block party to close it all out.

Day 1Â kicks off Friday, August 28 on DSU’s campus with morning workshop sessions and a keynote luncheon. That afternoon, we move to DSU’s Smyrna Outreach & Research Center for agricultural demonstrations, food and nutrition showcases, vendor markets, and food trucks. Then we close the evening with MABFC’s signature Fashion Show right on the farm.
Day 2, Saturday August 29, brings the 2nd Annual Delaware Farm Crawl, a self-guided tour of eight Delaware farms from 10 AM to 4 PM and it is completely free and open to the public. Hop on the MABFC bus from DSU’s campus or explore at your own pace. We close out the whole weekend with a Block Party at Messiah’s Market & The Village Tree with music, food, and fellowship for the whole family. One weekend. Endless Community Power.
