No-Till Organic Grain Experimentations @ Mason’s Heritage Farm

September 11 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm EDT

$15 – $20

Come see what’s working on the cutting-edge of no-till organic grain experimentation! Join Future Harvest, University of Maryland Research & Extension, the Million Acre Challenge, and Common Grain Alliance at Mason’s Heritage Farm for an in-depth field day that will walk you through the Mason’s no-till organic grain experiments, soil health outcomes, and discussion of organic grain markets. Farmer owner/operator Steve Kraszewski will show us the results of his experiments with compost teas, soil amendments, and no-till trials with cover crop mix rotations to identify which regimes provide the best yield and soil health outcomes.
