“Do Nothing Farming” Philosophy and Practices of Masanobu Fukuoka Natural Farm
May 5 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm EDT
On May 5 at 8 PM, the Alexandria Library will be hosting a presentation by Hiroki Fukuoka, the grandson of Masanobu Fukuoka and the proprietor of Masanobu Fukuoka Natural Farm in Iyo, Ehime, Japan. Mr. Masanobu Fukuoka is considered a pioneer in the field and philosophy of natural farming and Mr. Hiroki Fukuoka continues these practices with his family’s farm.
The presentation will feature a question and answer style talk. Because this event will be conducted with the assistance of an interpreter, we will not be able to take questions from the audience. Beforehand, I wanted to reach out to prominent people and organizations concerned with regenerative gardening and farming practices in the D.C. Metro Area to see if you have questions you would like asked during the talk. I cannot guarantee all questions will be integrated, but I would be happy to take any questions you might have into consideration.
