Please join us for a very special event at the majestic ThorpeWood Lodge in Thurmont, MD! Come enjoy the gorgeous lodge (made from chestnut wood!), a chestnut themed buffet lunch crafted by The Common Market Cafe, music, presentations, hand-crafted chestnut beer, fresh roasted chestnuts, desserts, and a silent auction including items & experiences from local, environmentally friendly businesses!

What to expect at the event?
12pm- Gathering hour, chestnut beer, hot mulled cider and soup. Silent auction opens.
1pm- A chestnut themed buffet lunch, crafted by The Common Market Cafe, with live music
2pm- Presentations by SilvoCulture’s Michael Judd & permaculture practitioner, Greg Strella
3pm- Music and mingling with live music
3:30pm- Silent auction winners announced
4pm- Dessert and music til the end!

*Tickets are $100 donation for adults, and $50 donation for kids. Since this a fun-draiser to help us reach our goal of planting 1 million nut trees in the mid-Atlantic, all tickets are tax deductible. We want to see you there! Space is limited, so get your tickets now!!

*There will be a room designated for kids activities during the whole event. ThorpeWood is a beautiful place to bring children to, and we will have volunteers tending the children’s area.
