Applications are now open for farmers interested in launching or expanding a farm-based business in 2023.

In 2022, 4 beginning farmers/farm businesses were selected for the  9 available plots. At this point, we are offering the 5 additional plots to new farmers. Each plot is approximately a half-acre of growing space.

When a farm entity is selected, the initial land use permit covers the first season, after which succeeding permit lengths will vary, but can be for several seasons, up to a total of 5 years on-site. Farmers may apply as individuals or as part of a partnership in formation.
