Are you a Value-Added Producer in Delaware or Maryland?

The Chesapeake Agriculture Innovation Center (CAIC) will be hosting its FREE “Business Solutions For Value-Added Producers” program starting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Participants will get a chance to get one-on-one mentorship sessions with industry experts, including mentors from Grow & Fortify, Cureate, and the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project. You will also be able to consult specific subject matter experts and if you qualify, you may apply for mini-grants of up to $5,000. The following topics are all going to be discussed during the Program:

Developing and Writing Your Business Plan
Funding Sources for Value-Added Producers
Regulations 101; Processes, Licenses, and Permits
Creating Your Marketing Plan and Vision
Developing and Positioning Your Brand
Identifying B2B and B2C Growth Opportunities
