Join Our Study Seeking to Understand Urban Farmers’ Income and Quality of Life
Help us understand and share for-profit urban farmers’ experiences! We are a team of researchers and farmers from ECO City Farms (in association with University of Maryland and funded by Northeast SARE) who are seeking to better understand the realities of urban farmers’ quality of life, profitability, and sustainability. In addition to an interview, experienced farmers will fill out a short survey of financial and demographic questions and be offered a $150 gift card in appreciation of their wisdom and time (3-4 hours). We hope to provide an avenue for urban farm businesses to tell their own stories to inform policy makers and new urban farmers about what supports urban farmers need.
