Red Wiggler Care Farm Apprenticeship Program, a multi-year Care Farming and Leadership Development Program:
This program is for you if:
• You’re ready to work side-by-side in the fields with team members of all abilities, learning the details of organic vegetable production

Level 1 Apprenticeship overview:
No prior farm experience or knowledge is necessary! We just ask for a desire to learn, work, and develop leadership skills outdoors in an inclusive community while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. Level 1 Apprentices have the possibility of advancing to a Level 2 Apprenticeship with additional leadership and educational opportunities.
Level 2 Apprenticeship overview:
The Level 2 Apprenticeship is designed for those with 1-2 farming seasons under their belt, and/or for a returning Level 1 Apprentice .
Level 2 Apprentices have additional opportunities to dive deeper into a certain area of focus – think irrigation, CSA/Market management, or farm education. Level 2 Apprentices are also given additional leadership responsibilities.
We Offer:
• $15.50-$16.50/hour based on experience
• Paid holidays and earned sick leave
• A weekly share of our certified organic vegetables!
• Seminars and training onsite; occasional offsite farm tours
We Ask For:
• Minimum of 10 weeks scheduled in full weeks between April and November
• 30-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
• Background Check
• Driver’s License (Level 2 only)

Founded in 1996, Red Wiggler is a sustainable farm where people with and without developmental disabilities come together to work, learn and grow healthy food. Our neurodiverse staff and volunteers cultivate organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs on about 4 acres. 50% of the food we grow goes towards our Community Supported
