The Prince George’s County Food Equity Council, an initiative of the Institute for Public Health Innovation, is looking for a Policy & Advocacy Intern to join our team this spring. This is a three-month internship position (January 9th – April 14th, 2023). The Intern will work 10-12 hours per week to track food-system-related legislation and engage with policymakers and partners during the 2023 Maryland General Assembly legislative session. This is a paid position ($15-$18 per hour depending on experience). Interns will work remotely; preference will be given to those that live in, or are familiar with, Prince George’s County and the DC metro region.
