Planting a Food Forest at Button Farm Volunteer Opportunity
March 25th, 2023 12-3pm
Button Farm Living History Center in partnership with SilvoCulture is seeking volunteers to help with the installation of a food forest to commemorate the Underground Railroad and the tree crops self-liberators used to assist in their escapes to freedom. Volunteers will be helping plant trees by digging holes, planting trees and spreading mulch. The site has many existing roots in the soil that may make digging a challenge so come prepared to work hard!
