Madison Fields, located in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, is a 265-acre working farm and community campus that offers job readiness and skills training for adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (A/I/DD). It also serves the greater community by providing agricultural education, diverse indoor and outdoor spaces for personal or corporate events, and individual and group volunteer opportunities to support our mission. We’re hiring several positions including:
The Farm Groundskeeping & Maintenance Manager oversees and/or executes upkeep and improvements of farm grounds, facilities, and machinery. Reporting to the Farm Operations Director, this role is responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and attractive outdoor spaces and facilities and supporting the job readiness and skills training program participants in learning practical, transferable job skills. This position provides leadership for groundskeeping and gardening staff, volunteers, and program participants. Salary range: $55,000-$60,000/year. Possibility of onsite housing.
The Farm Groundskeeping & Gardening Coordinator is responsible for maintaining gardens and landscaped areas while supporting training of adults with A/I/DD in practical gardening and landscaping skills that translate to community employment. Under the supervision of the Farm Groundskeeping & Maintenance Manager, the Farm Groundskeeping & Gardening Coordinator performs gardening, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure safe, productive, and attractive outdoor spaces. Salary range: $48,700-$53,700.
