Madison Fields, located in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, is a 265-acre working farm and community campus that offers job readiness and skills training for adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (A/I/DD). It also serves the greater community by providing agricultural education, diverse indoor and outdoor spaces for personal or corporate events, and individual and group volunteer opportunities to support our mission. Farm Operations Director • Full-Time • Dickerson, MD • Salary range: $65,000-$70,000; possibility of onsite housing
The Farm Operations Director is responsible for the overall planning, organization, coordination, and supervision of farm activities and operations including programs, events, groundskeeping, facility and equipment maintenance, and animal care. This role provides overall leadership of farm operations and programs and supervises farm and program staff.
Farm Groundskeeping & Maintenance Manager • Full-Time • Dickerson, MD • Salary range: $55,000-$60,000/year; possibility of onsite housing
The Farm Groundskeeping & Maintenance Manager oversees and/or executes upkeep and improvements of farm grounds, facilities, and machinery. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and attractive outdoor spaces and facilities. The Manager supervises the Farm Groundskeeper & Gardener.
Farm Groundskeeper & Gardener • Full-Time • Dickerson, MD • Salary range: $48,700-$53,700
The Farm Groundskeeper & Gardener performs gardening, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure safe, productive, and attractive outdoor spaces.
Equine Program Manager • Full-Time • Dickerson, MD • Salary range: $55,000-$60,000/year
The Equine Program Manager leads and manages Madison Fields’ equine and farm animal operations, boarding program, and equine assisted services program. This role is responsible for animal care, safety, and barn management; supervising barn staff, instructors, and volunteers; managing relationships with boarders and animal health professionals; and leading the re-establishment and growth of the equine therapy and therapeutic riding program.
