FRESHFARM is looking for a local food fan with strong program management skills excited to lead the implementation of our food access solutions in the DMV! This individual will leverage data and external partnerships to bolster the collective impact of our local food economy – improving access to fresh & nutritious food, increasing sales to local farmers & food producers, and facilitating the growth of a new regional incentive partner Coalition. This role will also work closely with FRESHFARM’s food access and farmers market staff to ensure that incentive program management at markets is effective and valuable for all.
Food Access Community Coordinator
Are you a skilled communicator and empathetic thinker with an eye for new projects and partnerships? Apply to be FRESHFARM’s Food Access Community Coordinator and take a key role in facilitating customer connections to local food access solutions in the DMV. By building relationships with external social service organizations, mutual aid and community groups, state and local government, and faith-based partners, this individual will work to bring more eligible residents into FRESHFARM’s incentive programming. Their work will address barriers for benefit use & access and also ensure that programming through our new regional incentive partner Coalition is equitable for all stakeholders.
