TALMAR operates a horticultural therapy center in Baltimore County. Apprentices apply their vegetable or flower knowledge to an acre of farm land, learning to work with volunteers, people with disabilities, veterans, and an array of community members. TALMAR’s goal is inclusion– the crops are a bonus. This is the perfect opportunity for farmers who want to learn management, from working with people to trouble-shooting crop solutions. Team approach, but you will be responsible for a portion of the farm.

Housing is a private room in a shared house on TALMAR’s campus, inside of Cromwell Valley Park.
