Spiral Path Farm CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a program that delivers fresh organic vegetables grown on our farm directly to drop off points close to our retail members on a weekly basis. Spiral Path Farm has 30 such delivery points in the greater Harrisburg area and 3 in the metro DC area. We currently have roughly 1800 members who receive a box of produce each week during the growing season. The CSA Manager oversees all communications with the members and the drop off sites, manages the logistics of deliveries, and coordinates with the Packing Shed Manager to pack the boxes.
Essential Skills Required:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills including typing, email, Excel, Word, Windows
Aptitude to learn new computer programs
Joy of healthy food and cooking
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Pay: $20 – $23/hr depending on skills
35-40 hours per week during season (April through late December). More available if desired.
10 hours per week during off season (Late December through March)
Spiral Path Farm is a 300 acre diversified organic vegetable farm dedicated to growing the healthiest vegetables possible while enhancing the soil. For over 25 years we have believed that vibrant soils produce the best tasting and healthiest vegetables. We currently sell our vegetables through Wegmans supermarkets, our CSA, and farmers markets in the DC metro area. Spiral Path Farm has built a dedicated team of employees that share our vision and are the backbone of our success. Peak season we have approximately 60 employees, over half of which are local. We are seeking to further build our team with a motivated individual that shares in our mission and can help manage our CSA.
