PCO (Pennsylvania Certified Organic) announces a job opening for two Certification Program Assistant Manager’s (CPAM). The CPAM role leads an assigned sub team within the wider Certification Team, which includes performing supervisory duties for Certification Specialist and Program Assistant staff. One position will be responsible for supervising the Client Services sub team, while the other will be responsible for overseeing the Crops/Livestock sub team. These positions plan and organize quality review work, prioritization of client files, supervises, develops, and supports review staff; provide customer service and work collaboratively with other Certification and Inspection Team Leads and PCO Leadership. The ideal candidates will have education and or experience in the following areas: people and program management, familiarity with organic compliance and organic certification, knowledge of organic standards, agriculture and/or food science/processing, and organic/regulatory inspections. We are looking for two well-organized and self-motivated candidates to join our team-oriented environment at PCO. This is a full telecommuting position with some very limited traveling.
PCO is a growing non-profit organization that works with organic farmers and food producers across the US. PCO provides organic certification services to more than 1600 operations and employs approximately 30 staff and sub-contracts with around 40 field inspectors. Our staff are dedicated to our mission: to ensure the integrity of organic products and serve our farming community.
This is a full-time, exempt, Telecommute position.
Salary range: $52,800 to $67,900, depending on experience.
